Swahili Beach Resort

A STORM of excitement and anticipation has swept through Kenya’s majestic South Coast, where a new five star beach resort opened its doors to the enthusiastic and eagerly awaiting tourists from not only Kenya but far distant places like Europe and Asia.Swahili Beach Hotel  is the first new major coastal tourist development in the last 15 years.

The hotel has 16 standard rooms, 110 Superior rooms with spacious verandas, extended sitting area and large closet space, and 14 Executive Suites all of which have a connected lounge, dining verandah and a private kitchen.

Royal Jordanian

Starting on 16th December will Royal Jordanian commence flights to the Kenyan capital Nairobi, initially 4 times a week every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday with the respective return flights taking off from JKIA in the early hours of Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. Royal Jordanian will be using an Airbus A319 on the route in a two class configuration.Welcome to the african skies.

Etihad

Etihad, the national airline of Abu Dhabi, will use an Airbus A320 aircraft when daily flights commence between Abu Dhabi and Nairobi in April 2012.The aircraft will operate in a two class configuration of business and economy.
It was also learned that the airline is presently also seeking talks with other airlines flying from Nairobi into the region to feed and de-feed into their planned flights to offer easy connections to such destinations like Entebbe, Juba, Kigali and Bujumbura.
