8 DAYS: SAMBURU 2NTS/MT. KENYA/ARK/NAKURU/MARA 2NTS

Day 1  Nairobi – Samburu

Today there is an early morning start. After breakfast, it is time to check out of your hotel. Your guide will be on hand to take you to the Northern Parts of Kenya. Onwards to Samburu- a reserve that harbours wildlife that is very rarely found anywhere else in the world including the Grevy’s zebra, the reticulated giraffe and the Beisa oryx – species only found north of the equator. After lunch, day is at leisure. Afternoon game drive. This is a window of opportunity to view some of the most exotic wildlife in the world. Overnight at the lodge.

Day 2  Samburu

Have an early morning game drive that will give you a chance to see how wildlife wakes up. After game drive head back to your lodge. The rest of the day is free for you to relax and enjoy the facilities at the lodge. A game drive awaits you in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

 Day 3  Samburu – Mount Kenya Safari Club

After breakfast, you depart for Mount Kenya Safari Club arriving in time for lunch. The club terrace offers a spectacular view of Mount Kenya’s peak, Bation. After having lunch the afternoon is set aside to enjoy the club’s outstanding facilities. Please note, it gets rather chilly at night here so please do keep a warm change of clothes. Dinner and overnight at the club.

Day 4  Mount Kenya Safari Club – Tree Hotel

After having breakfast proceed to the base hotel for lunch. Thereafter you will be taken to your tree hotel. From the comfort of your lodge, built on the slopes of the Aberdare Mountains, you can see a procession of wild animals visiting the waterhole and Saltlick. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 5  Tree Hotel – Nakuru

After having a marvelous breakfast, proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park in time for Lunch. Afternoon game drive.  Lake Nakuru is famous for its shallow alkaline lake, where thousands of flamingoes feed. At a distance, the lake looks pink, from the colour of the many flamingoes. You can also see the black rhino and a number of Rothschild Giraffes. Predators include lions and leopards. Dinner and Overnight at the lodge.

Day 6  Nakuru – Masai Mara

Have an early breakfast and depart for the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Lunch at the lodge and afternoon game viewing. Dinner and Overnight at the lodge.

Day 7   Masai Mara

Awake early before sunrise to a hot cup of coffee. Today you have a chance to see a sunrise that is amazing. With hot air balloons floating quietly above the Mara plains, sunrise here is a very special moment. After the game drive, head back to your lodge. Thereafter have breakfast and day at leisure. Lunch at the lodge and afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 8 Masai Mara - Nairobi

Awake to a luxurious breakfast at the lodge. Thereafter engage in a scenic drive back to Nairobi. On arrival, you will be dropped off at your hotel or at the international airport.
